10/06/2020 –
Friends of the Earth Europe are inviting you to a webinar and discussion on digital farming & the CAP among civil society groups and activists.
Time: 10 June 2.30–4.00 PM CET
Outline: Plans for reforming food and farming policies, in particular the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), feature digitisation as a universal solution for more environmentally and pollinator-friendly farming. The webinar explores if digital farming, particularly as part of the CAP reform, will really benefit the climate and environment, or on the contrary further tighten the stranglehold of corporations on our food. We will review key demands for a fairer and greener CAP and discuss together which rules we need to foster the innovation we want.
All participants will be encouraged to contribute to the debate.
Speakers:
Mute Schimpf, Food campaigner, Friends of the Earth Europe.
Aurélie CATALLO, coordinator, Plateforme Pour une autre PAC
Please register here by end of Monday, 8 June
Only registered participants will receive the link to join the webinar.
This webinar is for civil society and activists only. Please share it among other civil society groups.
